We will talk about your playing style, your musical preferences and your favorite woods. Together, we will decide what guitar I should build for you.
Once I begin work on your guitar, I will take progress pictures and email them to you.
Deposits and Payment
A deposit of 25% is required to reserve an instrument or to begin construction of a custom instrument. You will be contacted 15 days before the start of your instruments construction. At this time, you will be given a 15 day grace period for a full refund of the deposit. The deposit will be non-refundable after the grace period. The balance is then due before delivery. All transactions must be in U.S. funds or equivalent. Personal checks are accepted, but must clear before the instrument can be shipped. Final satisfaction of CITES or any other necessary export/import regulations are the responsibility of the owner.
Standard and Custom Instrument Return Policy
Standard instruments:
All instruments must be paid for in full before delivery. I have a 15-day "Right of First Refusal" policy. If you are not satisfied for any reason, you may return the instrument for a full refund, minus the original deposit and any shipping expenses. In the case of standard instruments, the purchase price will be refunded immediately upon return of the instrument.
Custom Instruments:
A refund of the purchase price will be contingent on resale of the instrument. A "custom instrument" is one which is different enough from my standard instruments that I believe it will be more difficult for me to resell. Any "personalization" will automatically default the instrument to Custom. I will offer a refused instrument to clients on my waiting list. I cannot guarantee the resell of a custom instrument. If an instrument is not returned in original condition, the cost of repair will be deducted.
